Formidions and Eidilapes

“Shapes” as opposite of NFTs — and property of cloud. Customer who had seen some shapes thought they needed a more distinctive name than shapes. What was “shapes” in Greek — eidos? What was “shapes” in Latin — forma? What was a shape? Reminded attendant of the etymology for normal he’d come across, a norm having indicated anciently, apparently, a carpenter’s square. Etymology of shape was Germanic, initially “to ordain, create”…. Formidions? Eidilapes? Eipidnoforms…? (These with a pleasantly Jurassic ring.) One again pondered, what was a shape.
