Simplon Pass, a pass between two Swiss/Italian mountain chains brought to world attention by Napoleon. Cave of Adullum was a hiding place of King David’s mentioned in 1 Samuel 22 (X):
David therefore departed thence, and escaped to the cave Adullam: and when his brethren and all his father’s house heard it, they went down thither to him.
