A strategy for filming Infinite Jest — either make it a trilogy (Gately / Tennis Academy/ The Entertainment), or make the ambition to just tell the Don Gately story, including the other elements only as needed to get that story told.
(I doubt you could have just the Don Gately story and have it be Infinite Jest, but maybe with some sort of greatly enhanced wraith-scene…?)
