Centroid: “The term centroid is an approximate synonym of centre of gravity and centre of mass, applied in mathematically abstract situations where the concepts of mass and gravity are not invoked.”

(Was looking for a word that means “midpoint between more than two points.” This doesn’t quite fit the bill.)
